My stay at Albergue Casa Baztan was amazing. The owner and his niece were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure all guests were comfortable. The bunk room was surprisingly comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. The large garden with hammocks and lounge chairs was a wonderful place to relax. They even helped me arrange a taxi when I injured my knee. The personal lockers were a nice touch for keeping valuables secure. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at Albergue Casa Baztan. The host went out of their way to accommodate my group of 9, making sure we were all comfortable and together. They even helped with blisters and did our laundry for a small fee. The hospitality was truly phenomenal.

Despite these minor inconveniences, my overall experience at Albergue Casa Baztan was exceptional. The location was perfect and the dinner served was fresh and delicious.

The location of the hostel was ideal for weary travelers, situated in a picturesque spot at the end of a challenging hike. the communal dinner provided an opportunity to connect with fellow pilgrims and enjoy delicious home-cooked meals. the bunk room was surprisingly comfortable, offering a peaceful night's sleep. the garden with hammocks and lounge chairs was a delightful addition, perfect for relaxation.

The early morning noise from neighboring guests disrupted the tranquility, with loud conversations starting as early as 5:30AM.

A pleasant surprise on my Camino journey, I stumbled upon Albergue Casa Baztan. With a warm welcome, reasonable prices, and a charming rear garden, it was the perfect spot to unwind. The attention to detail from the hosts was exceptional - offering cold water upon arrival and providing the best shower and laundry facilities on the Camino. Plus, the historic building housed a beautiful chapel and offered a delicious vegetarian dinner. Christopher's hospitality and helpfulness made my stay even more enjoyable.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a charming hostel in Spain called Casa Baztan. My purpose was to experience the Camino de Santiago, and Casa Baztan was the perfect place to rest after a long day of walking. The attention to detail by the hosts was much appreciated, from offering a glass of cold water upon arrival to providing the best shower and laundry facilities on the Camino. The historic building with its own chapel added a unique touch, and having the option of attending mass before dinner was a special experience. The dinner options were diverse, with vegetarian, chicken, and pork choices available. The hospitality of the owner, Christopher, was phenomenal, making sure everything was clean and ensuring a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely book at Casa Baztan again when I return.

    100% Recommend this hotel.

Located conveniently on the Camino de Santiago, this hostel offers comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. the friendly owner is always ready to assist and provides helpful services like making dinner reservations and doing laundry. the hostel also has a pleasant garden where visitors can relax or dry their clothes. it offers great value for money and is a good place to stay for pilgrims looking for a one-night stop.

The hostel is located in a shared room with multiple beds, so noise from other guests can be a potential issue.

I stayed at Casa Baztan for two nights while walking the Camino. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, even cooking a delicious barbecue dinner for us upon arrival. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and I appreciated the small dessert and wine that came with my dinner. There's also a bar across the street that serves lunch and snacks until 3 pm, so make sure to check it out before it closes. a great stay!

    100% Recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic experience at this albergue. the location was perfect, and I appreciated being greeted with a refreshing glass of water at check-in. the newly remodeled bathrooms were clean and modern, and the private room I booked was spacious and comfortable. the family-run atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the delicious dinner that was offered, complete with fresh and flavorful dishes, a glass of wine, and bottled water. the backyard provided a relaxing space to unwind, and I even had the opportunity to hang my laundry outside. this albergue exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it.

The location of this family-friendly hostel is perfect, with convenient access to amenities and attractions nearby. the private room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. the bathroom was also impressive, with modern fixtures and good water pressure. the staff provided excellent service, welcoming us with a refreshing glass of water upon arrival. the hostel offered convenient facilities such as a clothes dryer and outdoor clotheslines for laundry. we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The noise levels could be an issue, as some guests were inconsiderate and spoke loudly early in the morning, disturbing others' sleep.

Outdoor seating in a lovely grassy area with hammocks was the perfect spot for relaxation. The cobbled floor and ancient features of the property added a special charm to our stay. Plus, the included breakfast from 6 am was convenient.

Limited storage space made it difficult to keep our belongings organized, especially with luggage transfers. The toilet light constantly turning on and off was quite annoying.
