The bunk room was surprisingly comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. The large garden with hammocks and lounge chairs was a wonderful place to relax. They even helped me arrange a taxi when I injured my knee. The personal lockers were a nice touch for keeping valuables secure. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at Albergue Casa Baztan. The host went out of their way to accommodate my group of 9, making sure we were all comfortable and together. They even helped with blisters and did our laundry for a small fee. The hospitality was truly phenomenal.
Despite these minor inconveniences, my overall experience at Albergue Casa Baztan was exceptional. The location was perfect and the dinner served was fresh and delicious.

I recently stayed at a charming hostel in Spain called Casa Baztan. My purpose was to experience the Camino de Santiago, and Casa Baztan was the perfect place to rest after a long day of walking. The attention to detail by the hosts was much appreciated, from offering a glass of cold water upon arrival to providing the best shower and laundry facilities on the Camino. The historic building with its own chapel added a unique touch, and having the option of attending mass before dinner was a special experience. The dinner options were diverse, with vegetarian, chicken, and pork choices available. The hospitality of the owner, Christopher, was phenomenal, making sure everything was clean and ensuring a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely book at Casa Baztan again when I return.

I stayed at Casa Baztan for two nights while walking the Camino. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, even cooking a delicious barbecue dinner for us upon arrival. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and I appreciated the small dessert and wine that came with my dinner. There's also a bar across the street that serves lunch and snacks until 3 pm, so make sure to check it out before it closes. a great stay!

Outdoor seating in a lovely grassy area with hammocks was the perfect spot for relaxation. The cobbled floor and ancient features of the property added a special charm to our stay. Plus, the included breakfast from 6 am was convenient.
Limited storage space made it difficult to keep our belongings organized, especially with luggage transfers. The toilet light constantly turning on and off was quite annoying.
